Tony is the former CEO and Publisher of the Chicago Tribune. He was offered the job in September 2008 and they filed for bankruptcy in December 2008. Needless to say, his tenure was filled with disruption. Tony and Kevin talk about leadership during changing times and how you need to slow down to speed up. He has been fortunate to look back at his career and recognize that you are either disrupted or a disruptor. In either case, you want your team to be in alignment and own the plan before moving to action.
